As we all know, leaving the house to get a pint of milk with a little one can feel like a military operation, so a full day out can feel a little daunting! However, help is at hand – we are pleased to present our recipe to ensure you include all the essentials for the perfect day-trip this Bank Holiday!

Firstly, take one baby and place it snugly into a pram (Silver Cross we hope!). Next take one tote bag and add the following ingredients:

- One camera phone (to take and text photos of the special day)
- Multiple nappies (allow 1 / hour for the duration of the drip)
- Formula or milk
- No need for a packed lunch – treat yourself!
- MP3 player
- Keys!
- Purse
- Dummy
- Toys
- Wipes
- Nappy disposal bags
- Muslins
- You might want a spare change of clothes and a hat in case it gets cold

Garnish the pram with a cotton blanket and – assuming the bank holiday weather will be true to form – a buggy sail. (Kitchen sink, optional.)
